What are Chakras?
Chakras are round, cone-like energy structures, that look very much like spinning wheels.
They sit on our subtle bodies, strategically placed to interact with the functioning of our physical bodies.
Our chakras are the gateway between the physical, subtle realms, and the higher spiritual dimensions.
We have a total of 7 major chakras, that vertically align upwards from the base of our spine all the way up to the top of our physical head. More on this later.
In addition to this, we have a major chakra about 3 feet below our physical feet, called the Earth Chakra, and one about 12 inches above our physical head, called the Soul Star Chakra.
During a meditation session, I was shown that the bulk of ourselves, that is, the soul, sits in the Soul Star Chakra.
This gives us a total of 9 Major Chakras, 7 that are significant to our physical existence, and 2 that work to ground us and hold our Soul for the duration of our human experience.
Each one of these 9 chakras are also linked directly with the energies of the 9 heavenly bodies in Astrology. These energy structures hold our Prarabdha Karma, which get activated by the planets, as they travel through zodiacs and constellations.
Note. Prarabhda Karma is the reason for this physical birth. This includes all reasons for the experiences we have in our lives.
We also have a total of 88,000 minor (secondary) chakras that exists on the subtle structures of various parts of our bodies. These include the tips of our fingers, to all of the structures on our face, to all of our bodily organs.
Each chakra has a purpose, and has direct impact on the functioning of the physical areas of the body area they sit upon.
It should be noted that the 7 major chakras hold significance, primarily because it is these primary centres that the Kundalini Shakti connects, when rising from the base of the spine, through the Sushumna, Ida and Pingala Meridians, to our crown chakra, at the top of our head.
Note. The Sushumna, Ida and Pingala nadis, are empty tube like energy structures, that exist in our subtle energy bodies, through which life force travels. These Nadis are our three major meridians.
In addition to these 3 major meridians, we also have another 72,000 meridians, that are like side roads that connect every millimetre of our physical and subtle bodies.
Now, back to the Chakras.
The health of our chakras, and the subsequent region where they sit, can be determined by the spin rate of these energy structures.
When they are spinning at a fast rate, our body is healthy and operating efficiently. This effectively means that there is no negative energy creating drag on it to slow it down.
When the chakra is spinning slowly, we know the energy in that area is sluggish, stagnant, stressed, cluttered, and on the physical body – full of toxins, and most likely diseased, or about to become diseased.
The 7 major chakras also play a critical role in the regulation of our Nervous and Endocrine Systems. If you ever have issues with either one of these systems, it will help to address the the 7 major chakras first.
Our chakras can become sluggish in a number of ways. This could happen through our environment – being exposed to pollution, or by the people who inhabit our space.
It can be affected through bad diet, including the consumption of alcohol, smoking, and there would be good arguments against the consumption of meat.
Note. The consumption of meat is advised against primarily because you are consuming dead matter. There is absolutely no life force left in it, by the time you consume it. Consumption of dead matter that has little life force, dramatically reduces our vibration.
The same argument can also be made for the consumption of vegetables in this day and age. The use of chemicals prolong the look of the fruit of vegetable, however, cannot hold or maintain life-force in the vegetable for prolonged periods, hence, the fruit and vegetables we often buy from grocery shops, tend not to have any life force either.
Ayurveda tells us that all food must be consumed within 45 minutes of picking. Not really possible, unless you’re growing you’re own food.
Our chakras can also be blocked through excessive emotional fluctuations caused by the experiences we have in life.
The good news is that, we can quickly fix this by impacting directly on the chakras, through clearing and activation practices, to heal the chakra, and restore a healthy level spin.
These practices can range from utilising colours, mantra or sound vibrations, frequencies, and even crystals associated with each chakra.
Those that do energy work can tap directly into the chakra and perform a clearing and activation. I would advise against letting anyone tap directly into and messing with your chakras.
There is another way though, and that is utilising the Spirituality Zone ‘Clear, Awaken & Energise the 7 Major Chakras’ file.
This file utilises the original energy signature of each chakra, as established by the original blueprint of our higher self.
Instead of trying to repair it, we simple restore it back to its original state. It is the fastest way of clearing, awakening, re-aligning, and energising your 7 major chakras.
Doing so, doesn’t interfere with the Souls purpose in this lifetime, nor does it affect your karma. It simply removes all the blocks, negative energies, even entities, and restores the functionality back to 100% efficiency.
You can download the free version below this article, or the advanced version in the store. But first, please read through the rest of this article. It will help to understand better how each chakra impacts on the physical body, and ultimately, your human journey.
Here is an outline of the names, locations, associated elements, colours, and the sound vibrations of each of the 7 major chakras
Note. Each one of the chakras has it’s own mantra, which when vibrated, can clear and balance the chakra quickly. Here is a simple method of using the listed mantras for each chakra:
Follow the steps below:
- Sit comfortably with your legs crossed in a lotus yogic position. Sitting in the lotus position helps to facilitate the upward movement of energy.
- Close your eyes.
- Take a deep breath in. Hold for 3 seconds.
- As you breathe out, vibrate the word LAM, three times in a row (LAM, LAM, LAM).
- Repeat this a total of 9 times. You should begin to feel energy flow in the front and back of this region.
The First Chakra (Muladhara / Root)
Location: Base of the spine / Perineum
Mantra / Sound Vibration: LAM / ‘I am here now’
Planetary Association: Mars
Related Organ: Prostate, Anus.
The Root Chakra, the resting place of the Kundalini Shakti, has everything to do with our human material existence. It is to do with all of our survival requirements here on Earth.
If you find that your identification of who you are, is aligned with a title, material possessions or status, chances are, your Root Chakra is out of balance.
Those that entertain unobtainable desires, or excessive fear of losing ones status, valuables, or the fear of not having enough, definitely have an unbalanced Root Chakra.
One of the ways to clear and restore this chakra, is to vibrate the mantra LAM. It only takes a few minutes.
The Second Chakra (Svadhisthana / Sacral)
Location: Sex organs (Sacrum / Pelvis)
Mantra / Sound Vibration: VAM / ‘I am a force of attraction’
Related Organ: Testes / Ovaries
The Sacral Chakra, is the seat of passion and all unfulfilled unconscious desires.
It controls and regulates our sexual energy and sexuality.
An unbalanced Sacral Chakra often results in issues like impotence, infertility, and obsession with sex.
Any physical issues with the genitals, hip area, womb, kidneys, bladder, and the lower back could be linked to an under performing Sacral Chakra.
Those suffering from sexual emotional issues, intimacy problems, and unbalanced sexual desire have issues with their Sacral Chakra.
One can balance the Sacral Chakra by vibrating the mantra ‘VAM’ 3 times into the Sacral Chakra. Follow the process established above.
The Third Chakra (Manipura / Solar Plexus)
Location: Upper abdomen / Navel
Mantra / Sound Vibration: Ram / ‘I am that I am’
Planetary Association in Astrology: Sun
Related Organ: Adrenals
The Solar Plexus is one of the most important energy centres in the human body. It is also the largest energy centre.
The Solar Plexus contains the power for creation and destruction.
It directly impacts on the digestive system, assimilating food, and the up regulation of prana in the body.
Anyone suffering from constant physical ailments or disease should bring this Chakra into balance.
This is the energy centre that governs your ‘will’, the flow of life force, ones self esteem, the seat of the ego and personality, ones insecurities or self confidence, and ones sense of accomplishment in life.
If you have issues with any of the above, chances are that your Solar Plexus is out of balance.
Vibrating the mantra RAM into your Solar plexus, following the above method, will rapidly restore the function of the third Chakra.
The Fourth Chakras (Anahata / Heart)
Location: Chest / Heart
Mantra / Sound Vibration: YAM / ‘I am love’
Planetary Association in Astrology: Saturn
Related Organs: Thymus
The Heart Chakra directly governs the heart, lungs and trachea, as well as the control senses.
It regulates ones compassion, and the processing of unconditional love. It is the Heart Chakra through which one experiences omnipresence.
The Heart Chakra, or a point slightly to the right of this chakra, is considered by many to be the seat of the soul in the body. This is where the essence of the soul combines with the spirit to give life to the body.
It is also in this region where the human body’s assemblage point is located.
By mastering the Heart Chakra, one can obtain knowledge of the past, present and future.
Any issues with the heart, lungs, breathing, love, compassion or feeling disconnected could signify an unbalanced Heart Chakra.
Vibrating the mantra ‘YAM’ three times, following the method outlined above, can rapidly clear and balance this chakra.
The Fifth Chakra (Visudda / Throat)
Element: Space / Ether
Mantra / Sound Vibration: HAM / ‘I express my truth’
Planetary Association in Astrology: Venus
Related Organs: Thyroid
The Throat Chakra, the first of the three higher chakras, is all about communication. It is through this chakra that we express ourselves.
This chakra governs the thyroid in the body. It controls metabolism and the conversion of food into energy.
The most common symptom to an unbalanced Throat Chakra is a sore throat.
Another sign is an inability to properly express themselves, or to speak excessively, without being able to communicate their thoughts effectively.
In addition, it is the first point of spiritual realisation. Those that have an under functioning Throat Chakra, will find it difficult to manifest.
Vibrating the mantra HAM, following the procedure mentioned above will help rapidly restore the functioning of the Throat Chakra.
The Sixth Chakra (Ajna / Brow)
Location: Third eye, between the eyebrows
Colour: Dark blue / purple
Mantra / Sound Vibration: Om / ‘I am knowledge’
Planetary Association in Astrology: Jupiter
Related Organs: Pineal
The Brow Chakra, is your gateway into the higher realms and spiritual experiences, transcending the ego, mind and illusions, allowing us to see and recognise truth and reality.
It is the seat of our psychic potential, and the control centre of all mental activity.
The Brow Chakra directly links to the Pineal gland and the third eye. It is the point where the three main meridians – Sushumna, Ida and Pingala meet and unify, and with it, unify all of the powers of the five lower chakras.
Vibrating the mantra Om, following the procedure mentioned above, will rapidly clear and balance the Ajna Chakra.
The Seventh Chakra (Sahasrara / Crown)
Location: Top of the head
Colour: Violet / White / Golden
Mantra: ‘I am divinity’
Planetary Association in Astrology: Mercury
Related Organs: Pituitary
As we move into the three higher chakras, we’re delving into the higher subtle realms.
The seat of transcendental power, the Crown Chakra is the pathway to the soul, or the realisation of the soul and true self. It is the centre for enlightenment.
It is where one is liberated from suffering.
You may have heard of people speak of undergoing a ‘spiritual awakening’. This usually means the awakening or energising of the Crown Chakra.
The vast majority of the planet right now have an unbalanced Crown Chakra. As the higher energies flow into Earths energy grid, more and more people are experiencing a balancing and awakening of the Crown, which leads them to a spiritual awakening – the realisation of truth.
You may have also heard of these people say that as they’ve developed spiritually, they find themselves more and more disconnected with the rest of the material world. They are unable to work, maintain friendships, or function in the material world.
This often happens as a result of the higher chakras becoming over energised, and as a result, being out of sync with the lower chakras.
It is important to understand that no one chakra is more important than the other. To exist as a human being, all 7 chakras need to be properly balanced and energised.
The best vibration for the Crown Chakras is ‘I Am’.
How do I use the MP3?
We live in a time where we’re consuming and interacting with more energy, in one day, than our ancestors did in a whole year.
This provides for more opportunities for our Chakras to become clogged.
This file should become part of your daily spiritual practice. Listen to this just once daily to ensure the proper functioning of your 7 major chakras.
If you are going to listen more than once, then twice is more than enough per day.
It will take about a week or so of daily listening to initially bring the chakras into balance.
My files don’t need to be looped to increase it’s affect.
You may listen with or without headphones.
It is very important to increase your intake of fresh water daily. My recommendation is 2.5 litres a day, if you’re regularly using energy files.
It is normal to have detox like symptoms. Any sort of energy work has an equal effect on the physical body, which will result in chemical reactions, often, causing the release of toxins. Water will help flush these out.
If you feel tired, listen to your body and rest.
Some may even experience an increase in dreams. That is normal
An advanced version of this file is available in the store. The advanced version performs a deeper level clearing, and provides 400% more energy.
